I want to wrap up my Whole 30 saga, but before I do that, I want to commemorate my boys’ first day back to school today. First, let me give you a quick summary of the last week: I finished Whole 30. I ate like a regular person. I ate too much like a regular person. Now I need to curb my enthusiasm for regular people food. But more on that soon.
So, the boys went back to school today–to fourth grade and preschool, respectively. From the fourth grader, I got a nice photo:
And some silly ones:
He told me the shirt I picked out made him look like a dork. But I have a long tradition of dressing by boys in blue polo shirts for the first day of school, so why stop now?
And the little guy let me take some nice photos:
And then he lost interest in me.
As far as I can tell, they had a good day. I didn’t get a lot of details. As excited as I have been about having all three kids back in school, the reality of driving three kids to three different schools with different schedules has me feeling pretty frazzled already.
